From Jody,
When people love a mouthpiece, they really love it and when Wally
West loves a mouthpiece, forget about it. He's a tremendous player
and teacher on the Jazz Studies Faculty at the University of North
Carolina-Chapel Hill. Please see what Wally has to say about the HR*
Tenor Mouthpiece and the ESP Tenor Gold.
Wally West
"When Jody came out with his new Hard Rubber Series I knew I had
to jump on it. It's a great tenor sax mouthpiece. It's just amazing.
My previous hard rubber mouthpiece ( which was refaced by one of
the best in the business) is in the drawer. Jody, you're a genius.
You set a barometer for the mouthpiece world. I absolutely love
my JodyJazz ESP Tenor mouthpiece but when I want that hard rubber
sound and feel the HR* is perfect. "
"Jody, your JodyJazz Tenor ESP rocks the house! I've never
played a mouthpiece with more versatility - ever. The dark warmth
and richness of my old Link, as well as the edge and projection
I never thought I'd get all in one mouthpiece. I always knew you
were a great saxophone player, but my respect for you continues
to thrive with your skills as a mouthpiece designer. This is truly
an unbelievable mouthpiece! For those who are hardcore Link users,
this is the new mouthpiece you need to play. In one week I had the
opportunity to play everything from orchestral music to jazz quartet
to hard-rocking R&B, and the JodyJazz ESP covered all styles
and genres perfectly. Jody, thanks for bringing a new found love
into my playing!"
