Bob Magnuson on the DV Alto 7 Mouthpiece
"Hey Jody,
Really want to thank you for DV 7 alto sax mouthpiece. I've been hanging with it and exploring many colors with it. It plays everything!!!!!!!
I really appreciate the opportunity to know you and be an endorser of your wonderful products."
Bob Magnuson on the Classic Soprano Ruby Red
"After trying the Ruby Red JodyJazz soprano sax mouthpiece #9, I was surprised
at how much it evened out the complete scale of the horn. It was as if the intonation
was organized and lined up perfectly. I was also impressed by the fact that it didn't
take much of the neckcork in to play evenly and in tune. The tone is a big, round sound
which is unusual for a relatively small chambered mouthpiece. All in all, it's a true
winner and probably the best playing soprano sax mouthpiece available today!"
Bob Magnuson Biography
Ryan Burrage is a true gem in the musical landscape. He's a virtuoso
clarinet player in the style of the old New Orleans Masters, yet he introduces
fresh and new ideas throughout his playing. His sound is huge and his range is
even larger. Burrage plays five nights a week at Fritzel's on Bourbon Street,
in New Orleans. I had a great time sitting in with Ryan at Fritzel's and was amazed at
the high notes he was hitting and the fluidity with which he was doing it. I was quite
proud when he announced to the crowd that he was playing a JodyJazz mouthpiece.
He plays it with the spoiler in, by the way. When you are in New Orleans I highly
recommend hearing this Trad Master.
